Tasmanian Award
We won!!!
It is with pleasure that we congratulate the Tasmanian branches (Hobart, Launceston & Devonport) on winning the Tasmanian Community Achievement Awards – Volunteer Category.
The awards were hosted by Southern Cross Television, The Advocate and Sea FM with prizes being sponsored by the Commonwealth Bank.
As part of the award, we received a cheque for $1,000 which will be used to support the three branches. We also received a trophy and plaque.
The trophy and plaque will make the rounds of the three branches over the coming months but with out our dedicated volunteers and their special dogs and the commitment of your co-ordinators, we would not have such a successful program in Tasmania. So on behalf of Delta and the Board, I would like to thank you for all your support and commitment to the program.
