Kim Leong

Kim is a Therapy Dogs assessor in Melbourne who conducts herself with confidence and professionalism but this is only a small part of Kim's work for Delta. Kim was involved in original group in Melbourne of the Pet Partners program with her Afghan.

 

Kim is an active member of the Volunteer Subcommittee. She has designed, administered and evaluated the results of a volunteer survey to assist us in providing better for the volunteer's needs.

 

She has done most of the work in updating and rewriting the Assessor's Guide for Therapy Dogs (including the new Classroom Canines testing) and the Manual for volunteers.

 

She provided very valuable input at the assessor's conference. Although not relevant to this award, Kim has done an enormous amount of other volunteer work for Delta - she put in hours developing materials for the new website and has conducted and very professionally reported all of the exit surveys for the instructor’s course.  She is there to help - whatever is required and does not need to be asked twice or followed up.

 

Kim is one of those people without whom Delta simply would not function!
