Workplace Giving

The Delta Society is registered for Workplace Giving with the Australian Charities Fund.

As a Charity Partner, Delta works with employers in the program to develop a wonderful, long lasting and mutually beneficial relationship designed to inspire employees, and provide our supporters a truly unique insight into Delta's Therapy Dogs program.

Workplace Giving allows employees to donate to charity regularly through their employer's payroll system. The basic premise and appeal of Workplace Giving as a method of supporting the community is that the donations are made from the employee's pre-tax salary.

The program also encourages employees to engage with the charities supported by their organisation through initiatives such as volunteering and fundraising events.

The concept is a win-win-win for workers, employers and charities. No matter how small the amount, employees joing together to donate to their charities of choice. Employers enjoy greater staff engagement and retention. Charities gain reliable, regular funds.
